일주일 동안 우울한 노래만 들었다.
우울함으로 우울함을 이겨보고 싶었기 때문에 더더욱 열심히 듣게 되었다.
그중에 한곡...
Extreme의 노래중에 국내 발매시 금지 먹은 곡이 있다.
그들의 두번째 앨범인 Pornograffitti가 정식 발매 되었는지 기억이 가물가물 하지만
암튼 그 앨범도 More than words같은 곡과 함께 여러 명곡이 있음에도 불구하고
몇몇 가사 및 사용 단어 때문에 라이센스 발매가 없었던 것으로 기억한다.
그리고 정식 발매된 III Sides to Every Story 앨범...
92년쯤인가 93년쯤인가 테이프로 사서 들었던 기억이 나는데,
이 앨범에도 금지곡이 있었다. 이걸 알게된게 테입이 늘어져서 CD를 샀더니
속지에 Peacemaker Die라는 곡 금지 먹었다더라... 이건 또 뭐란 말이냐...
알았다면 차라리 수입반을 샀을텐데...

센스쟁이들...
이런 가사였으니, 금지먹었다는 사실이 이해가 좀 된다.
마치... 요즘 정국을 보는 듯한 느낌이 들면서
마틴 루터 킹 목사와 노무현 전 대통령이 살짝 오버랩 되는 이 느낌은 대체...
